Lead Your Journey Group in Mission
One of the Three Vital Relationships we believe to be part of the Christian life is “Influence with Unbelievers”.
We grow in our influence among unbelievers in the world through mission. Intentional expression of faith hope and love in the name of Jesus Christ is crucial to the mission of the gospel. We encourage you and your Journey Group to get involved with ongoing missions in this community or pioneer your own outreach as a group. You will find that when you serve together in mission, you will experience spiritual growth that is truly life changing.
The list below is of some great missions to get involved with here in the Metro. There is always room for more so if you have a desire to fill a need that is not being met - trust God, step out, and fill the need!
“This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of God’s people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God. Because of the service by which you have proved yourselves, men will praise God for the obedience that accompanies your confession of the Gospel of Christ, and for your generosity in sharing with them and with everyone else.” 2 Corinthians 9:13, 14
